Gagandeep Singh

Gagandeep Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Gagandeep is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Virtium LLC since May 2022. Prior to this role, Gagandeep worked at WD, a Western Digital company, from November 2013 to May 2022 as a Senior Manager. Their responsibilities included managing a team of engineers focused on Tier-1 OEMs/Cloud customers and acting as the interface between the customers and the WD Engineering team. Gagandeep also developed long-term relationships and partnerships with strategic customers, guiding them through product specifications, qualification, and design reviews.

Gagandeep translated the market requirements into architecture, design, and requirements documents and implemented an offline diagnostic test suite for manufacturing testing.

Here, they worked closely with marketing to define product and system specifications for the next-generation SHDSL chip. Additionally, they contributed to the system architect specifications for hardware bonding blocks.

Prior to Conexant Systems, Gagandeep worked at Conexant Systems as a Principal Software Engineer from September 2003 to January 2006. Gagandeep worked on multiple modules in the network management architecture for DSL routers and led a team of engineers in developing a new DSL product.

Early in their career, Gagandeep worked at Hughes Software Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they gathered customer requirements and wrote requirement documents. Gagandeep also worked on enhancing the HTTP protocol for satellite communication.
