Javed Zahoor

Javed Zahoor has had a long and varied career in technology and software development. Javed began their career in 2006 as CTO/AVP at CureMD, a New York based Healthcare IT solution provider. During their time there, they were responsible for making the most important & impactful technical decisions for a software product. Javed also led a team to white-label and re-architect the CureMD EMR application for better scalability, quick onboarding and SSO based integration with NaviNet's Provider Portal.

In 2008, Javed Zahoor moved to FITech as a Technical Consultant. There, they were involved in .NET based custom solutions and Magento based customizations. In 2009, they took on a Technical Consultant role at RTBS, where they helped with Software Design Engineering to cater for variation in the business to business workflows and needs together with UI Optimization.

In 2010, Javed Zahoor became a Software Design Consultant at Visual Sparks. There, they designed and developed Virtual Trials - a Clinical Trials System as a Single Page Application using proprietary Object Oriented JavaScripting framework on the client side and C# based services on the server side.

In 2012, Javed Zahoor began working as a Visiting Faculty at FAST-NUCES. Javed also took on a similar role at ITU - Information Technology University in 2015. That same year, they became Cofounder & CTO of VIVID Technologies Ltd, a telecom start-up.

In 2016, Javed Zahoor began working as VP of Technology & Innovation at Virtual Force Inc. Javed was also Head of Technology, involved in building software products along with founders and helping them through the entire product creation process. In 2018, they became VP TPM at DevFactory, where they had a purely tech-oriented product management experience.

Javed Zahoor obtained a BCS in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in the years 1997-2000. Javed then went on to pursue an MS in Artificial Intelligence from the Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2004-2008. Finally, they completed a PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2011-2021.
