I-Van Leong

I-van Leong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. I-van is currently working at Virtuelle Group as the Head of Engineering, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they were an Engineering Manager at the same company from July 2023 to December 2023. I-van also worked at Microsoft as the ANZ Senior Cloud Solution Architect Manager (FSI) from July 2022 to May 2023, and as the Head of Azure NSW & QLD from April 2020 to July 2022. During their tenure at Microsoft, they also served as a Cloud Solution Architect, leading a team and collaborating with customers and Microsoft field on Azure initiatives. Before joining Microsoft, I-van was a Solutions Architect at Melbourne IT Enterprise Services, where they managed the Smart Digital Platform on AWS and achieved AWS Managed Service Provider Partner status. I-van also has experience as a Customer Solutions Architect at INTERACTIVE Pty Ltd and as a Senior Technical Consultant at Optus. Additionally, they worked as a Professional Services Manager at Alphawest Services and as a Senior Developer/IT Infrastructure Manager at Assure Services & Technology, where they played a key role in automating document creation and managing IT infrastructure.

I-van Leong completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Macquarie University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Arts with a field of study in Computing Science. I-van Leong has also earned several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in April 2023 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert in November 2019.
