Sharon Doleman

Sharon Doleman, MBA, has extensive work experience in accounts payable and accounting roles. Sharon started their career at Octagon in 1994 as a Staff Accountant, handling various financial tasks and client invoicing for Fortune 500 companies. Sharon then moved to Georgia Pacific in 1998 as an Accounting Supervisor, where they reviewed accountants' work and distributed monthly performance reports. In 2005, they joined Floor and Decor as an Accounts Payable Manager, overseeing the department and managing invoice processing. Since 2014, they have been working at Virtus Investment Partners as the Director of Accounts Payable, leading continuous improvement projects and driving key accounts payable processes. Sharon also directs the Corporate Travel and Expense activities while maintaining a strong financial control environment.

Sharon Doleman has a diverse educational background. Sharon completed their Executive MBA at Kennesaw State University from 2021 to 2023. In 2000, they attended Kennesaw State University, where they studied accounting. Sharon earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics from Talladega College between 1983 and 1987. Sharon completed their high school education and obtained their diploma from Anniston High School from 1979 to 1983.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sharon Doleman also holds a certification as a Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) from the Institute of Financial Operations. Sharon obtained this certificate in October 2016.
