Jason Pubal

Jason Pubal is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in application security and vulnerability management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Application Security at Visa since January 2013, Jason leads a team focused on securing internet-facing web applications through continuous security assessments and management of multiple security service lines. Previous roles include Director of an application security vulnerability management program, and positions as Senior Security Engineer and Senior Security Analyst with companies including OCLC and Abercrombie and Fitch, where Jason was responsible for security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response. Jason began a career in information security at American Electric Power, transitioning from an Information Security Specialist to security engineering roles. Educational credentials include a Chief Information Security Officer Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA, a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Miami University.
