Maela Ngantcha-Ouandja is a dedicated Politics and International Affairs student at Wake Forest University with extensive experience in political engagement and diversity initiatives. Currently serving as an Africa Studies Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, Maela has previously contributed to the Center for Strategic and International Studies as a Social Media & Research Intern, enhancing audience engagement and managing various social media platforms. As the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Maela promotes equitable representation and organizes DEI workshops. Additional roles include Co-Founder of Powered By Youth Ambassadors, where Maela significantly increased youth voter engagement, and various positions involving leadership and community service, such as Summer Fellow at Wake Forest University and Junior Campaign Manager for McCaul for Congress. Maela's international experience includes studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, further enriching a strong academic foundation.
