Mathieu Altwegg

Mathieu Altwegg is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services and payment industry. Currently serving as VP and Head of Product and Solutions for Visa UK & Ireland, Mathieu oversees a team responsible for product commercialization and marketing across various payment solutions. Prior roles at Visa include VP positions in Consumer Solutions Europe, Innovation and Design Europe, and Fintech and Ventures Asia Pacific, where Mathieu led product development and strategic initiatives. Mathieu has also held leadership roles as CEO of Checkout.com and Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where strategic consulting for major financial institutions and consumer goods companies was facilitated. Additionally, Mathieu is a seed investor in multiple startups, including Gozem and AhorroLibre, and possesses an academic background with degrees from prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics and HEC Lausanne.
