Samir El Ouahabi

Samir El Ouahabi serves as the Business Development Director for Visa Direct since May 2020, where responsibilities include driving sales of Visa Direct products and services throughout Africa and the Middle East, focusing on various payment solutions including P2P transfers and Visa QR solutions. Prior experience includes significant roles at SWIFT from September 2013 to May 2020, where Samir successfully managed sales and client relationships across the MENA region, developed commercial strategies, and led projects to establish a new office in Kenya. Earlier, an internship at IBM involved supporting global sales strategies and generating sales insights. Academically, Samir has a Master in Management from Louvain School of Management and a Master's in International Business from Sophia University, along with a Bachelor's in Economics and Management.
