Shimon Vaknin

Shimon Vaknin is an experienced Quality & Reliability Engineer and Calibration Lab Manager at Vishay Precision Group, Inc., since January 2019, responsible for planning and preparing periodic reports. Prior experience includes roles as a Research and Development Engineer at Sensus Healthcare, where responsibilities involved developing medical laser equipment for skin cancer treatment and cosmetic procedures. Shimon has also served as a Physics Laboratory Demonstrator Engineer at Tel Aviv University and held various engineering and customer support roles at Stratasys, Nanometrics, Accent, and Bio-Rad Laboratories, specializing in metrology, customer service, and technical support for complex measurement tools and systems. Shimon began the career as a Laser Engineer at Quantronix Corporation, focusing on advanced laser technologies. Shimon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of New Haven.
