Emma Lamberton has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2017 when they were a Fulbright Scholar, ETA for the Fulbright Association. In 2018, they worked as a Communications Specialist for the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and a Strategic Communications Consultant for Write to Be. Emma also worked as a Fund Development Coordinator for CameroonFDP and a Lead Researcher for the University of Pittsburgh. In 2019, they were the Director of Communications and Administration for Every Tribe and Nation Network and a Program Evaluation Consultant for Global Links. Finally, in 2020, they were the Grants and Contracts Manager for VISIMO, a Program Evaluation Consultant for Manchester Bidwell Corporation, and a International Funds and Partnerships Manager for USAN GUUR (Bridge). In each role, Emma was responsible for a variety of tasks, such as building partnerships, writing grant proposals, developing curricula, and conducting program evaluations.

Emma Lamberton has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Music from Geneva College, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Emma also has three certifications: International Exchange Recruitment from the U.S. Department of State obtained in 2018, TESL Methodology and Practicum from the American Embassy of Ulaanbaatar obtained in 2017, and Teaching English as a Second Language from Geneva College obtained in 2015. In 2018, they began their Master of International Development with a minor in Policy Analysis from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA), which they are expected to complete in 2020.
