Ying Sutton

Ying Sutton has extensive work experience in financial and accounting roles. Ying started their career as the Owner of Birdcage Company Ltd from February 2003 to March 2004. Following that, they worked as a Management Accountant in Marketing Companies from April 2004 to September 2013. Ying then joined AirPlus International as an FP&A / Business Controller from July 2014 to June 2016, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and delivering profitability and growth for the UK business. From July 2016 to June 2017, Ying worked as a Northern European Region Finance Business Partner (FTC) in National Instruments, handling reporting, forecasting, statutory accounts, and tax computation for UK business units. Ying then served as a Senior Accountant in MacDermid Performance Solutions from June 2017 to June 2019, taking charge of accounting, reporting, statutory accounts, and tax computation for six operational and holding companies. From November 2019 to October 2022, Ying worked as a Group Financial Controller in Porvair Filtration Group. Ying subsequently joined Veramed as a Group Financial Controller from October 2022 to June 2023 before moving on to their current role as a Group Financial Controller in Vision Engineering Ltd, starting in June 2023.

Ying Sutton completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Robert Gordon University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Business/Commerce, General from Delhi University between 1995 and 1996. Additionally, Ying Sutton obtained a qualification from ACCA and is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
