Llewellyn Somers (she/her) has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2004 as an Acquisitions Assistant for the State University of New York Press. In 2006, they became a Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher for the NYC Department of Education. In 2008, they took on the role of Owner of Lemon Blossom Paper Company. From 2010 to 2014, they were Program Coordinator for Women's Economic Ventures (WEV). Finally, from 2014 onward, they have held the roles of Senior Project Manager - Strategy and Operations Manager for VISIONALITY.

Llewellyn Somers completed their high school education at Oxnard High School from 1996 to 2000. Llewellyn then attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Major and Spanish Minor from 2000 to 2004. In 2002 to 2003, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Warwick. Finally, they completed a Master's Degree in Education at Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences from 2006 to 2008.
