Carl Johan Swanson

Carl Johan Swanson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Carl Johan started their career as an Ombudsman at Moderata Ungdomsförbundet in 2003. Carl Johan then worked as a Political Advisor at Moderaterna from 2003 to 2006 before joining Kulturdepartementet as a Political Advisor. In 2007, they became the Head of Press at Moderaterna and later transitioned to the role of Chief of Staff, where they had overall responsibility for political development, coordination, messaging, and crisis management. In 2012, they joined Prime Weber Shandwick as a Senior Consultant, focusing on public affairs and opinion formation. Carl Johan then moved to Telia Sverige in 2014, where they served as the Director of Communications and later as the Teamleader Public Affairs. In 2017, they became the Head of Communications at Visita - Svensk besöksnäring, where they were responsible for internal and external communication, managing the budget and personnel, and being part of the management team.
