Doru Bali

Doru Bali, MD, MBA, HMDC has extensive work experience in various medical director roles. Doru is currently the Medical Director at Henry Ford Health and the Regional Medical Director for the Michigan Market at GoHealth Urgent Care. In previous positions, they served as the Medical Director at Visiting Nurse Association and Blue Water Hospice, as well as at Easterseals MORC. Before that, they held the position of Medical Director & Attending Emergency Physician at Beaumont Health & Alteon Health, where they significantly improved healthcare operations, quality, and patient experience. Doru also served as the Vice Chief & Attending ER Physician at Huron Valley-Sinai Emergency Department, where they played a key role in achieving Level III trauma certification and enhancing system-wide quality and safety operations. Doru'sexpertise includes standardizing care delivery protocols, reducing costs, improving service quality, and increasing physician satisfaction.

Doru Bali, MD, MBA, HMDC completed a Physician Executive MBA program at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Doru also earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Doru holds additional certifications such as American Board of Emergency Medicine Diplomate, Hospice Medical Director Certified, Qualified Developmental Disability Professionals (QDDP), State of Michigan Medical License, and State of Ohio Medical License.
