Bobbi McSwine

Bobbi McSwine currently serves as the Tourism Engagement Manager at VisitLEX, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, McSwine was the Communications and Social Media Manager at the Kentucky Derby Museum from July 2023 to July 2024. Experience at WHAS-TV as a Multimedia Journalist spanned from November 2021 to June 2023, following a similar position at WTVQ from November 2019 to November 2021. Early career experience includes an Editorial Intern role at Free Spirit Media, where McSwine produced a short documentary, and a newsroom internship at NPR’s WILL radio, where writing for air and web was a primary responsibility. Additional internships at ABC/WLS-TV and Illini Media, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, further shaped McSwine's professional background.
