Carlos Ponce

Carlos Ponce has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Carlos started their career as an Internship Program IT at Alcaldía Municipal de Cochabamba in 2014. After that, they worked as a Professional Freelancer Web Design and QA in 2015.

In 2017, Carlos joined Jalasoft as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for promoting quality and performance improvement in the software environment. Carlos also created test cases, performed functional and backend testing, and reported bugs and test results. Carlos utilized various testing techniques such as exploratory testing, smoke testing, and acceptance testing. Carlos worked closely with developers to fix bugs and contributed to defect tracking and resolution.

From 2017 to 2019, Carlos worked at Community Brands as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they continued their duties in quality assurance. In addition to their technical responsibilities, they participated in test plan and test case review meetings, attended meetings with business analysts, developers, and end users, and actively contributed to the company's agile team.

Carlos then joined Universidad Mayor de San Simon as a Part-Time Professor in 2019. In the same year, they also started working at Encora Inc. as a Quality Assurance Trainer. Carlos later became a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were involved in various activities such as developing quality environments, setting QA objectives, creating test cases, performing end-to-end testing, and reporting bugs. Carlos also took on additional responsibilities as a QA Trainer for interns and new hires, a QA interviewer, and a QA speaker for the company.

In 2020, Carlos worked at Creatoria as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and at WANT Digital Agency as a Lead Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. In these roles, they continued to apply their expertise in quality assurance.

Currently, Carlos is working at VISO Trust as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Carlos Ponce's education history is as follows:

- From 2011 to 2015, Carlos Ponce attended the Universidad Privada de Ciencias Administrativas y Tecnologicas (UCATEC) and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Systems Engineering.

- In 2016 and 2017, Carlos Ponce attended Fundacion Jala and completed a program in Software Quality Assurance Specialist, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
