Jason Nash

Vice President Marketing at Vista Outdoor

Jason Nash has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jason began their career at Words At Work, where they served as an Assistant Account Executive and later as an Account Executive, managing projects for clients such as Capella University, ITT Industries, IBM, Lanier, and Fidelity Investments.

Jason then joined Tripp Agency as a PR Account Executive and Copywriter, responsible for developing and implementing public relations campaigns for clients and writing news releases and campaign materials.

In 2003, Jason joined ATK as a Public Relations Specialist and Supervisor, where they successfully executed a robust PR program, building strong relationships with industry media members and increasing stories generated and advertising equivalency for ATK and its consumer brands.

Jason advanced within ATK, serving as the Communications and Events Manager and later as the Director of Marketing and Communications. As the Director, they led a centralized internal marketing team of over 30 employees and worked closely with external agencies to plan and execute effective strategies for 20 consumer brands. Jason also played a key role in shifting the marketing mix towards digital and social engagement, while leading internal and external communications strategies.

Following ATK, Jason worked at ATK Sporting as the Director of Brand Integration, ensuring seamless integration of brands within the organization.

Currently, they are working at Vista Outdoor Inc. as the Vice President of Marketing. Prior to this role, they held various positions within the company, including Senior Director of Marketing and Global Product Lane Director, Handgun Ammunition. In their current role, Jason is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for Vista Outdoor's consumer ammunition brands, translating category and innovation plans into brand plans to drive promotion and demand creation for their products.

Jason Nash received their BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1995 to 1997. Jason later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 2011 to 2013.
