Fred C. Ferguson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Fred C. started their career as a Congressional Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008. Later, they became a Senior Legislative Assistant and then a Legislative Director in the same organization. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Policy Director for the Congressional Western Caucus. In 2014, they took on the role of Finance and Operations Lead at Every Little Something, where they supported the growth of their wife's business. In 2017, they joined Vista Outdoor Inc. as the Vice President Government and Industry Relations, and later moved on to become the Vice President of Government Relations and Communications. In 2020, they became the Washington, D.C. Representative for the Hinckley Institute of Politics. In 2021, they became a Board Member and President of the Vista Outdoor Foundation, and later assumed the role of Chairman of the Board in 2023. Fred C. also served as the Treasurer and Manager of the Vista Outdoor PAC from 2017 to 2023. In the future, they will take on the position of Vice President of Communications at Revelyst. Additionally, they have been working as a Mentor for First Tee since 2022.

Fred C. Ferguson earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oklahoma State University from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sport Management from Drexel University from 2010 to 2012. Their undergraduate studies were focused on Political Science, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Utah from 2006 to 2008.
