Karie Roers

Karie Roers has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. Karie is currently working as a Tax Director at Vista Outdoor Inc. since October 2020. Before that, they served as a Senior Tax Manager at the same company from August 2016 to October 2020. Prior to joining Vista Outdoor Inc., Karie held positions at EY, where they worked as a Senior Manager - National Tax (Excise Tax) from July 2015 to August 2016, and as a Senior Manager from March 2011 to August 2016. Karie also worked as a Multistate Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP from 2007 to 2011, as a SALT Tax Manager at KPMG from 2004 to 2007, and as a Tax Senior at Deloitte Tax LLP from 2002 to 2004. Karie began their career as a Staff member at Arthur Andersen in 2001. Throughout their career, Karie has gained significant experience in state and local income/franchise taxes, indirect taxes (property, sales/use, and excise tax), and multistate taxation.

Karie Roers obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Dakota in the years 1997-2001. Karie also holds a CPA certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.
