Scott Hamman has extensive experience in human resources and executive leadership. Scott started their career in 1998 at Allina Health, where they held various roles, including Director of Talent Acquisition and Diversity and Director of Human Resources. During their time at Allina Health, Scott developed recruitment strategies, managed high-volume hiring processes, and led people-related strategies for multiple operating units.
In 2017, Scott joined Leadership and Organization Consulting as a Human Capital Consultant, where they provided HR expertise and partnered with business leaders to implement solutions in areas such as talent acquisition and change management.
Currently, Scott serves as the Executive Vice President, Workforce Engagement and Chief Administrative Officer at Vista Prairie Communities. In this role, they provide executive leadership across various functions, including HR, risk management, philanthropy, and advocacy. Scott actively participates in decision-making processes, partners with executive leaders to achieve strategic goals, and fosters a highly engaged culture.
Scott Hamman received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from Luther College in 1995. Scott then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management and Health and Human Services Administration from St. Mary's University of Minnesota, completing it in 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Change Management from an unspecified institution and in Incident Commander and Planning Section Chief from HICS Command Center Training. Scott is also a Targeted Selection Facilitator certified by Development Dimensions International.
