Jyrki Selinummi

Jyrki Selinummi is the Head of Imaging R&D at Visy Oy, where Jyrki focuses on project management and developing optical character recognition (OCR) and related image based measurement technologies. Jyrki is also a Senior Data Analyst and Co-Founder at Quva Oy, working on detecting errors in production processes. With a PhD in Signal/Image processing from Tampere University of Technology, Jyrki has conducted research on automated image analysis at various institutions, including Tampere University of Technology, Institute for Systems Biology, University of Jyväskylä, and the Finnish Air Force.
