Carla Sofia Amorim de Almeida

Carla Sofia Amorim de Almeida has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and companies. Carla Sofia is currently employed as the Head of Supply Chain, EMEA at Vita Coco since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Joseph Joseph Ltd, where they held the position of Head of Demand from 2019 to 2021. Carla Sofia also served as a Senior Demand Planner and Demand Planner at Joseph Joseph Ltd from 2018 to 2019.

Before joining Joseph Joseph Ltd, Carla worked at Bigham's as a Senior Demand Planner from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they were a Customer Service and Planning Team Leader at Maison Blanc from 2014 to 2016. Carla's early professional experience includes working at Tecnimede Group - Pharmaceutical Company, where they held the position of Planning and Clients Manager from 2007 to 2014. Carla Sofia also served as a Financial Controller at the same company from 2006 to 2007. In their role as Planning and Clients Manager, they were responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, including production planning and customer delivery operations. As a Financial Controller, they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and producing monthly financial reports, as well as reviewing internal company processes for improvement.

Carla Sofia Amorim de Almeida completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management at ISEG - School of Economics & Management - University of Lisbon from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued an Executive Master's Degree in Finance and Managerial Control at ISCTE-IUL – University Institute of Lisbon from 2010 to 2011.
