Sean Craus

Sean Craus, MBA, MJEL, CPL, is an experienced professional in the field of land management and energy law. Currently serving as Staff Landman, Surface Land at Vital Energy since March 2017, Sean has held progressive roles including Sr. Surface Landman and Surface Landman. Prior to this, Sean worked as a Surface Landman at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. and as a Landman at Armadillo Land Company. Sean began a career in leadership at Target as an Executive Team Leader. Sean's educational background includes a Master of Science in Real Estate and Infrastructure from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University, a Master's Degree in Jurisprudence in Energy Law from The University of Tulsa College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from Texas Tech University.
