Phil Trendell

Phil Trendell has a diverse work experience in supply chain management and operations. Phil currently holds the position of Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics at Vital Farms since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director, Supply Chain & Integrated Business Planning from March 2022 to June 2023, and as Director of Supply Chain from August 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Vital Farms, Phil worked at Eagle Foods as a Purchasing Manager from April 2017 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for procurement activities for the Snacks business segment, including managing a significant spend and contributing to cost savings initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Phil held various supply chain management roles at The J.M. Smucker Company. These positions include Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement (Supply Chain & Operations), Supply Chain Project Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Operations & Process, Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Process, Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Operations, and Distribution Planner.

Throughout their career, Phil has demonstrated expertise in procurement, supply chain operations, supplier negotiations, and warehouse management. Phil has also played a key role in achieving cost savings and driving operational efficiency.

Phil Trendell attended The University of Toledo from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and E-Commerce. Phil then pursued a Master of Business Administration in International Business at the same university from 2006 to 2007.
