Matthew Jones

Matthew Jones is an engineer at Vital. Matthew previously worked as an intermediate software engineer at Orion Health from August 2015 to May 2016, where they were a member of the Science team and worked on building an "omics" platform on top of Apache Cassandra. Matthew also worked as an associate programmer analyst in the Ma'ayan lab at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from August 2014 to June 2015, where they maintained and developed new features for Enrichr, a web tool for performing enrichment analysis of gene sets.

Matthew Jones has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Auckland.

Matthew Jones reports to Te Riu-Warren, Chief Technical Officer. They are on a team with Grace Hall - Engineer, William O'neil - Engineer, and Piotr Zurek - Engineer.
