Lara Tabac is the Director at Vital Strategies, where Lara leads the Data for Health Global Grants program to strengthen data usage in public health decision-making in low- and middle-income countries. Lara previously worked as a Senior Technical Advisor at the same company, and served in various research and program management roles at organizations such as New York University and the United Nations Development Programme. Lara holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Columbia University, and a PhD in Medical Anthropology from McGill University.
