Philip Johnson

Philip Johnson founded Abel Healthcare Enterprises, LLC in 2014 and currently holds the role of Founder. Prior to that, they worked as a Cardiology Fellow at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they were an Internal Medicine Resident at UAB Hospital from 2008 to 2011.

Philip Johnson completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in the period of 1990 to 1994. Philip then pursued their academic career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they obtained a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from 1995 to 1999. Philip continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Medicine from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Philip Johnson holds two board certifications: one in Cardiovascular Disease and another in Internal Medicine, both obtained from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
