Aiden Scandella

Aiden Scandella has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2009, Aiden worked as a Software Engineer at Socrata for three years before joining Causes.com as an Engineer in 2012. In 2013, Aiden became a Mentor at Hackbright Academy and also took on the role of Staff Engineer at Uber, where they led a team in making Go a first-class citizen and designed and built important services. Aiden left Uber in 2018 and joined Rover.com as a Platform Engineer, focusing on performance improvements and enhancing the developer experience. In 2020, Aiden worked as a Software Engineer at Metabase, building infrastructure and redesigning AWS systems. Later that year, Aiden became the Head of Engineering at Supernow, leading the team and building the company's first product. Aiden took a break from work in 2022 after their previous company shut down and is set to start as a Staff Engineer at Vitally.io in March 2023. Additionally, Aiden has contributed to the Make-A-Wish organization as a Wish Granter from 2018 to 2021.

Aiden Scandella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
