John Chancey

John Chancey currently serves as the Director of Product Engineering at Vitamix, where responsibilities include leading a team of approximately 20 individuals in product development, creating architectural strategies for value creation, and fostering an innovative organizational culture. Previously, John held multiple roles at General Motors, including Project Manager overseeing Choreography Features and Senior Systems Engineer focusing on Body Electronics and Lighting Systems. As an entrepreneur, John managed Chancey Estates LLC as a residential builder. Prior experience also includes a position as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Current, powered by GE, where John contributed to product design and compliance. John holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
