Alexandra Voinea has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and technology industries since 2015. In 2015, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher for the Mission Simulation for WFIRST-AFTA project, a Program Coordinator for Life Changing Summer, an Academic Excellence Workshop Facilitator for Single Variable Calculus at Cornell University, a Suspension Damping Lead for OpenLoop, a RoboSquid Project Undergraduate Researcher for the Organic Robotics Laboratory Cornell, and the Founder and Team Lead for Cornell Hyperloop. In 2017, they were an Intern at Tesla, supporting SCM and SIE with launching and managing Model 3, assisting suppliers in further line developments and improvements, and managing A-sampling and incipient production sampling on a future Tesla vehicle. From 2018 to 2022, they were Co-Founder/COO, Lead Product Development Engineer, and Product Development Engineer at VitaScan, a personal nutrition company. In 2022, they will begin working as an Application Engineer for Cirtec Medical.
Alexandra Voinea attended Cornell University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Alexandra then went on to receive a Masters of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Cornell University in 2018.
