Saurabh Mehta

Saurabh Mehta has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they were appointed Director of the Program in International Nutrition at Cornell University. In 2020, they were appointed Janet and Gordon Lankton Professor of Public Health and Nutrition, and prior to that, they were an Associate Professor of Global Health, Epidemiology, and Nutrition and an Assistant Professor of Global Health, Epidemiology, and Nutrition at Cornell University, starting in 2010. In 2016, they co-founded and became a board member of VitaScan. In 2014, they were an International Faculty Fellow at the Einaudi Center for International Studies. In 2013, they were an Adjunct Associate Professor at St. John's Research Institute. In 2022, they will become the Director of the Center for Precision Nutrition and Health.

Saurabh Mehta completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences between 1997 and 2003, specializing in Medicine. Saurabh then went on to pursue a Master of Science (S.M.) in Epidemiology from Harvard University between 2003 and 2004. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in Epidemiology and Nutrition from Harvard University between 2004 and 2009.
