Hazel Ferguson

Hazel Ferguson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in employee engagement and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Head of Employee Engagement at Vitol Foundation since March 2023, Hazel previously held multiple roles at CIPD from May 2016 to March 2023, including Strategic Communications Projects and Head of Brand and Communications (Maternity Cover). Prior to CIPD, Hazel contributed as a Senior Corporate Affairs Officer at Which?, where responsibilities included managing stakeholder engagement and corporate communications. Hazel's earlier experience includes roles at Scottish Development International as an International Development Executive, and at Scotland Malawi Partnership, where local authorities engagement strategies were developed. Additionally, Hazel served as a Parliamentary Assistant at The Scottish Parliament and completed an internship with The International Network of Street Papers. Hazel holds an MA in Politics and Economic & Social History from the University of Glasgow.
