Farooq Jamal

Farooq Jamal has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the telecommunications and media sectors. Currently serving in a Sales & Marketing role at Sikka Infratech Pvt Ltd since June 2020, Farooq manages a workforce of 750 employees to oversee the local market for internet and cable TV services. In addition, Farooq holds a position in sales at Viu and has been the GM of Operations at Set Digital Networking Pvt Ltd since July 2015, focusing on regional operations in the North Zone. Farooq also serves as Head for North India at Ultra India Pvt. Ltd. and previously managed operations at National Geographic Channel until February 2013. Early career experience includes a role as Deputy Manager at Sahara One, where responsibilities included launching the channel in the UP, MP, and Bihar regions. Farooq earned an MBA in Sales and Marketing from Amity University between 2008 and 2010.
