Fathi Azouz

Fathi Azouz has extensive work experience in the media industry, spanning over three decades. FATHI currently holds the position of Head of Production at Viu since March 2022. Previously, they have worked at various well-known companies including OSN, ORBIT SHOWTIME, Showtime Arabia, Showtime TV in London, MBC GROUP, Disney Channel, BBC News, Tunisian Ministry of Information, and the Press Institute. At OSN, they served as the Director of Original Content & Production, responsible for producing and commissioning numerous award-winning TV shows for the MENA region. FATHI also held the role of Director of On-Air Promotions, where they successfully restructured the department and fostered creativity and teamwork. Before that, at ORBIT SHOWTIME, they worked as the Original Content Development Manager, providing consulting on commissioned projects with third parties. Fathi Azouz began their career as a Broadcast Journalist at BBC News and also worked as a Media Liaison Officer at the Tunisian Ministry of Information. FATHI has a strong background in promotions and has held various positions as a Promotions Producer and Senior Promotions Producer at Showtime, Disney Channel, and MBC GROUP. Additionally, they have experience as an English Language Professor at the Press Institute. Fathi Azouz pursued higher education in the field of English literature and American Studies. From 1988 to 1992, they attended the Université de La Manouba, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. FATHI further enhanced their understanding of English by completing a TEFL program at the University of St Mark & St John in 1990.
