Jan Bühler

Jan B. has extensive experience in high-stakes environments, currently serving as a Pilot, Commissioned Officer, and Airborne Systems Engineer with the United States Air Force since April 2013. In this role, Jan B. is the sole systems expert aboard a multi-billion dollar intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, executing critical systems troubleshooting under tight deadlines related to national security. Previously, Jan B. worked as a Lighting Technician for Royal Caribbean from November 2009 to March 2011, where responsibilities included operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting lighting and special effects equipment across five venues aboard the ship, while engaging with a diverse range of cultures. Jan B. holds an MBA/MS in Information Systems from the University of Utah, completed in August 2023, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Texas State University, as well as a brief period of study at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
