Marcela R. has an extensive work experience in the field of digital design and product development. Marcela is currently working as a Product Design Lead at Vivi since November 2022. Before this role, Marcela worked as a Senior UX/UI designer on a freelance basis since September 2011.

In 2022, Marcela also worked at R/GA as a Senior Product Designer from February to May. Prior to that, they were a Digital Product and Experience Specialist at the Department of Education & Training, Victoria from February 2021 to January 2022. In this role, Marcela was responsible for designing and implementing engagement products and services, as well as providing user experience development for product interaction layers.

From 2018 to 2021, Marcela worked at Mustard | A Creative Agency, where they held two positions. First, they were a Digital Design Manager from September 2019 to February 2021. In this role, Marcela led and mentored fellow designers and oversaw various digital projects. Prior to that, they were a Senior Digital Designer from March 2018 to September 2019, where they designed and developed digital marketing campaigns, web applications, and e-learning platforms.

Before Mustard, Marcela worked at Adelphi Digital Consulting Group as a Senior Digital Designer from May 2017 to February 2018. In this role, Marcela collaborated with project managers, defined customer requirements, and created industry-leading creative concepts. Marcela also held shorter-term positions at Three's a Crowd, Happy Group, Traffic Brand Agency, and Wani Creative, where they gained experience in various design tasks such as wireframing, website design, and client management.

Marcela R. has a diverse educational background in the field of graphic and digital design. Marcela completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic & Digital Design from the University of Greenwich in the years 2011-2012. Later in 2011, they pursued a short course in After Effects for Television at the University of the Arts London.

In 2013, Marcela enrolled in an online course called Creative Programming for Digital Media & Mobile Apps offered by the University of London. Marcela further expanded their skills in animation and visual effects using Maya by completing another short course at the University of the Arts London in 2014.

Marcela also obtained a Foundation Degree in Graphic Design with Interactive Multimedia from the City of Bristol College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Marcela has also obtained additional certifications, including a Human-Centered Service Design certificate from IDEO U in October 2019 and a Creative Programming for Digital Media certificate from Coursera Verified Certificates in July 2013.
