James Adams

James Adams has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. James is currently the Director of Software Engineering, Core Services at Vivid Seats, where they lead a team of engineers and is responsible for building products that enhance the customer experience. Prior to this, James worked at Wawa, Inc. as a Technical Delivery Leader, overseeing the development of digital solutions for the company's customer-facing platforms. James also co-owned Levante Brewing Company, where they provided leadership and strategic direction for the business. In addition, James served as the Vice President of Technology Solutions at Lilly Pulitzer, where they led the technology team and implemented strategies to improve company performance. James worked as a Solution Executive at TEKsystems, providing executive-level management and oversight for customer engagements. James also has significant experience in the eCommerce sector, having held various roles at QVC, including Director of IT for Global eCommerce Applications Development and Director of IT for US eCommerce. James began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals and QVC. Overall, James Adams has a strong background in technology leadership and has contributed to the success of several prominent companies throughout their career.

James Adams earned a Master's Degree in Leadership Development from Penn State University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating between the years 1986 and 1991. In addition to their formal education, James also earned several certifications, including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2016, the "Achieved Nerdvana - iOS Programming" certification from Big Nerd Ranch in May 2011, the Certified Scrum Practitioner certification from the Scrum Alliance in August 2009, and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2007.
