Johnny Cather

Johnny Cather, CDMP, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Johnny currently works as a Brand Manager at Vivid Seats since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Digital Marketing Manager at the Chicago White Sox from December 2021 to March 2023. Johnny also served as a Marketing Manager at Zacks Investment Research from April 2021 to December 2021. Before their time at Zacks, Johnny worked as a Marketing Manager at EMPIST (formerly Digerati Group) from April 2017 to April 2021. Johnny started their marketing career as a Marketing Specialist at foodjunky.com from December 2015 to April 2017.

Before transitioning to marketing, Johnny worked in journalism and media-related roles. Johnny was a General Assignment Reporter at Tri States Public Radio from May 2015 to May 2016, where they reported news stories, conducted interviews, and reviewed content for accuracy. Johnny also served as a Producer/Multimedia Journalist at NEWS3 from August 2014 to May 2016, and as a Sports Photographer at WGEM TV from November 2014 to May 2015. Prior to their media career, Johnny worked as a Manager at Tate's Ice Cream from April 2012 to June 2013.

Johnny Cather, CDMP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcasting from Western Illinois University, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. In March 2023, they also achieved the certification of Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute.
