Ashley Roache McGill

Ashley Roache McGill has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2009 when they served as a Film & TV Department Administrative Assistant at Boston University, College of Communication. Ashley then became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University in 2009 and a Screenwriting Professor at the NY Film Academy in 2010. In 2013, they joined Viamedia as a Business Development Analyst & Affiliate Relations, and was later promoted to Director of Business Development & Affiliate Relationships. In 2018, Ashley began working at Big Ass Fans as a Senior Director of Brand Marketing & Communications, where they managed a full service in-house 28 person marketing department and was part of the core leadership team that grew the company’s valuation from its $500M acquisition in 2017 to its $1.1B acquisition in 2021. In 2022, Ashley began working as both a Marketing Director at VividCharts and a Brand Strategy & Creative Consultant on contract.

Ashley Roache McGill received their MFA in Film Direction from Boston University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from the University of Kentucky in 2007. In 2018, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
