Katy Forster began their work experience in 2013 as a Junior Product Designer at Cosatto. Katy then moved on to work at Philips in 2014 as a Junior Designer. In 2015, they joined Pentland Brands where they had several roles, including Footwear Designer, Global Product Manager, and Junior Designer. In 2018, they joined Vivobarefoot as a Women's & Kids' Footwear Designer and progressed to become the Head of Product, leading the product strategy and vision. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant sales growth and underwent restructuring to support future growth plans.
Katy Forster's education history includes studying at various institutions. Katy attended Northumbria University where they pursued a degree in BA (Hons) Design for Industry. Katy also studied at Zhejiang University, focusing on Business Studies & Mandarin. Additionally, they enrolled in the University of the Arts London, where they pursued degrees in Fashion & Trend Forecasting and Fabrics & Fibres. Furthermore, Katy Forster attended the BLC Leather Technology Centre, where they gained knowledge in Understanding Leather. Prior to their higher education, they completed their A Levels at Skipton Girls High School, achieving grades of A in Product Design and Psychology, and a grade of B in Business Studies.
