Position Summary:
Vizgen is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our rapidly growing organization. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with great customer service skills to join our growing Finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be supporting customer invoicing, accounts receivable email box management, and carry out the day-to-day Accounts Receivable invoicing activities. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also regularly interact with internal and external customers, requiring a high level of customer service and high level of coordination and communication.
This position offers the flexibility to work a remote schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the management of monthly collections and receivables to include, preparing and submitting customer invoices and responding to accounts receivable inquiries.
- Working with customers and members of the customer care team to facilitate prompt payment.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounts receivable function.
- Record and reconcile incoming payments in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Monitor overdue accounts and implement appropriate collection strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
- Participating in annual audit as needed.
- Assisting with related special projects as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, not required.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate, and coordinate effectively and in a professional manner across the organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines
- Proficient organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel
