Alyssa Hartsell Harris

Alyssa Hartsell Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of research and analytics. Alyssa is currently working as a Senior Analytics Director at Vizient, Inc since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Research Analytics Director at the same company from January 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they worked as a Lead Analyst in Research Analytics from March 2018 to December 2019 and as a Senior Analyst from July 2016 to March 2018.

Before joining Vizient, Inc, Alyssa worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Health System from September 2015 to May 2016. Alyssa also gained experience as a Newborn Screening Epidemiology Intern at the State of Michigan - Department of Health and Human Services from May 2015 to August 2015.

Alyssa's earlier experience includes working at AbbVie as a Study Management Associate II / Clinical Research Associate (CRA) from April 2013 to May 2015. Alyssa was responsible for various tasks related to the management and operation of clinical trials.

Alyssa also worked at Abbott Laboratories as part of the Quality Professional Development Program (QPDP) from July 2011 to May 2013, gaining skills in quality control and assurance.

Earlier in their career, Alyssa worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Radiation Oncology Consultants, Ltd for a short period in 2010.

Alyssa began their professional journey as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Notre Dame from August 2008 to March 2010.

Alyssa Hartsell Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Science - Business and Science, Technology and Values from the University of Notre Dame in 2011. Alyssa later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology and Risk Science & Human Health at the University of Michigan from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General at Northern Illinois University since 2023.
