Alexey Stolpovskikh

Alexey Stolpovskikh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alexey is currently serving as the Founder of SEALSOFT LLC and Senior Staff Software Engineer at VIZIO. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Sentral and as a Core Engineer at DataStax.

Previously, Alexey held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Frontdoor, Inc., where they developed a home insurance REST API and implemented various technologies such as Go language, Protocol Buffers, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, gRPC, and utilized cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, and Splunk. Alexey also worked on multimedia upload and storage in AWS, virus scan implementation, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) utilization.

Before that, Alexey worked as a Senior Lead Software Developer at Travelport, where they led a development team and worked on the enterprise ticketing system for major rail companies in Europe. Alexey also worked closely with customers to resolve technical issues.

Alexey also has experience working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed components for the Microsoft Advertising system and worked on the Creative Assets Management (CAM) system. Alexey also worked at Quest Software as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed enterprise systems for IT infrastructure compliance verification.

Additionally, Alexey has a background as a Software Project Manager at IBS Group, where they managed the development of a client-server accounting/inventory system and client components for Palm OS devices. Alexey started their career as a Technical Manager at ASCO Communications, where they played a key role in acquiring a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) platform for a GSM provider and designing the MMS WEB/WAP portal architecture.

Alexey Stolpovskikh began their education by completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at Satbayev University from 1994 to 1999. Alexey then pursued further studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the same university from 1999 to 2002. In 1998, they also received a Certificate of Completion in Robotics from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila. Continuing their education, Alexey attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2002 to 2003, where they completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Alexey has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2007, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) through the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)²). Alexey also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from The Project Management Institute (PMI), which they obtained in December 2015. More recently, they acquired certifications related to Kubernetes, including Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) from Linux Academy. Alexey also completed the Kubernetes Essentials course from the same institution. Alexey's additional certifications include Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) from Microsoft and Oracle Certified Associate from Oracle.
