Dwan Henderson

Dwan Henderson has a diverse work experience in the logistics field. Dwan currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Logistics at VIZIO since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at New Era Cap as the Director of North American Logistics and Distribution from February 2021 to August 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Dwan served as the Global Logistics Manager at Henry Company. In this role, they managed a freight spend of $30M, initiated a private fleet comprising of 5 trucks and 8 trailers, and identified a cost reduction opportunity of $3.4M in 2019. Dwan achieved actual savings of $1.9M in 2019, leading to $1.5M in cost reduction.

Before joining Henry Company, Dwan was the Transportation Principal at Lennox International from January 2016 to January 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Transportation at Tiger Logistics, LLC from January 2010 to January 2014.

Starting their career in the logistics industry, Dwan worked as a Transportation Specialist III at FedEx Ground from January 2005 to January 2010. During their tenure, they successfully reduced transportation costs by 55% by implementing Reverse Logistics and reduced the number of 3PL carriers from 75 to 45, resulting in increased profitability.

Dwan also gained valuable experience as a National Account Manager at Walmart from January 2003 to January 2004 and as a Load Logistics Manager from January 2002 to January 2003. Additionally, they worked as an Account Representative at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. from January 2001 to January 2002.

Dwan Henderson obtained an Associate of Science degree from the University of Arkansas in 1997. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Arkansas, completing their studies in 2001.
