Manikandan Kannan

Manikandan Kannan has a strong background in software engineering and mobility development. Manikandan is currently working as a Principal Application Engineer at VIZIO since February 2023. Prior to this, Manikandan held roles at GlobalLogic, Verizon, Kohl's, and Cognizant. At GlobalLogic, they worked as a Specialist Engineer from November 2021 to February 2023 and as a Lead Software Engineer from November 2019 to October 2021. Manikandan also served as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to October 2019. At Verizon, Manikandan worked as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to February 2023. Manikandan was previously a Senior Software Engineer at Kohl's from February 2015 to September 2016. Manikandan started their career at Cognizant as a Developer for Mobility Products from November 2010 to June 2013, and later served as a Senior Developer in Mobility from June 2013 to September 2016.

Manikandan Kannan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sri Krishna Engineering College in Chennai from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Ramasamy Chettiyar Higher Secondary School in Chidambaram from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued their HSC degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Manikandan obtained certifications such as the Ultimate AWS Certified Developer Associate 2022 from Udemy in January 2023 and the AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023.
