Shane Matthews

Shane Matthews has a diverse background in software engineering and web development. Shane is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at VIZIO. Before joining VIZIO, Shane was a Technical Lead at SpotX (now part of Magnite), where they oversaw the development, testing, and release of features and fixes for various applications. Prior to that, they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at SpotX, where they were involved in full-stack software development and integration/testing of real-time-bidding software systems.

Shane also has experience as a Software Engineer at GE Digital, where they were responsible for full-stack software development and debugging, as well as mobile app development and support. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Developer at Charlottesville Media Group, where they made significant contributions, including a complete redesign of the company website.

Additionally, Shane has held various roles in different companies including Campus Fellow at Young America, Lab Assistant at ART Engineering, Kitchen Manager at Delta Upsilon Fraternity, and Infection Control Quality Auditor at the University of Virginia Health System.

Shane Matthews completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, graduating in 2016.
