Birthe Brouer Viggaard

Birthe Brouer Viggaard has a diverse and extensive work experience in the tax and accounting field. Birthe Brouer started their career as an audit assistant at Svend Ryding - Registered Auditor in 1982, before moving on to Nestgaard & Vetlov A/S as an audit assistant. In 1985, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assistant Tax Manager, where they worked for 12 years and gained experience in national and international corporate tax, as well as accounting and auditing. In 1997, Birthe joined Novo Nordisk A/S as a tax advisor, responsible for corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing. Birthe Brouer was also involved in the demerger of Novozymes A/S. Later, they joined Novozymes A/S and held the position of Group Tax Manager and later Global Transfer Pricing Senior Manager. Currently, Birthe is the Head of Tax at VKR Holding A/S, where they focus on tax management and audit committee reporting, tax in the annual accounts, transfer pricing, M&A, and communication and implementation of new tax rules and practices.

Birthe Brouer Viggaard has a diverse education history. Birthe Brouer obtained their Master's degree in Taxation from Copenhagen Business School in 2015. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they completed their Master's degree in Auditing and Accounting, known as Cand. Merc. Aud, also from Copenhagen Business School.

Earlier in their education, Birthe completed their studies in HD Regnskab (a program in accounting) from Copenhagen Business School in 1987. Before that, they were a Commercial Student at HHX Hillerød from 1981 to 1982. Their education journey started at Allerød Gymnasium, where they completed their high school education as a Student, focusing on Math and Physics, from 1978 to 1981.
