Petra Sell

Petra Sell is a highly experienced UX/UI designer specializing in design systems, currently working at Katoen Natie since October 2022, where responsibilities include setting up Hexagon, the company's Design System. Since June 2013, Petra has served as a freelance UI Design Consultant and Design System Designer for Digitaal Vlaanderen, contributing to various significant projects such as vlaanderen.be and the Burgerprofiel initiative. Additionally, Petra functions as a freelance Design Lead at volpelino bv, providing UI designs, UX thinking, and brand identity development. As a co-organizer of UX Belgium, Petra plays an active role in fostering a community of UX professionals while also teaching at the Plantin Instituut voor Typografie. Previous noteworthy positions include Design Director at prophets and Boondoggle, and experience with multiple high-profile clients. Petra holds a degree in Communication Design from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
