Tine Claus

Tine Claus is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in equal opportunities, migration, and public policy. Currently serving as the Director at Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen since December 2021, Tine also holds board member positions at Unia and Myria since June 2021. Previously, Tine was the Team Leader for Equal Opportunities at FOD Justitie from January 2018 to November 2021 and at FOD Werkgelegenheid from October 2016 to December 2017. Tine's earlier tenure includes a role as Legal and Policy Advisor at the Belgian Federal Police from February 2006 to September 2016, with responsibilities in coordinating policy and legal standards across various sectors. Tine has academic credentials from multiple institutions, including a Master of Laws in International and European Law focused on Human Rights from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and several complementary masters relating to maritime law and international relations.
