David Thornton

Dave has over 30 years of financial experience in both the government and commercial sectors, which he puts to work every day at VMD. He has experience as a leader guiding companies through their transitions from small to large business environments, driving financial merger and acquisition activities and improving overall organizational health and financial performance. Dave is an important strategic contributor to VMD’s growth initiatives as well as the performance and service excellence.

Prior to joining VMD, Dave was CFO for LSi and Catapult Technology. Dave holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics from the University of Missouri.
